Fate & Free Will Title

Finger of Fate

The fickle finger of fate, pointing the way.

As everything stands frozen in the Totality of the Universe, the strands of life are laid out to be read. But only by those of infinite consciousness.

For aga like us it makes no difference if someone else can read our future at a glance. We can act as though we have free will or we can act as if we don't. The way we act is part of the character of our soul. Personally, I like to act with relish and hope. Others may enjoy wallowing in ennui and hopelessness. Free will is a personal thing. That the Totality of one's existence can be laid out does not mean it wasn't created by free will. In fact it was created by free will, the free will of your Uru operating in the Transcendent Plane.

More interesting and useful in the light of this religion is the matter of fate. Fate is the force that one may feel pulling on one's life, trying to force it in a particular direction. This is the force of the Uru trying to bring the agu into line. Forcing one to follow one's true plan.

One may feel dogged by bad/good luck or a chain of circumstances, or one may feel that God has contrived a disaster/miracle for one. This is not luck or a miracle, it is fate! or more precisely it represents forces that you cannot see engineering circumstances that you cannot avoid.

These forces may be the life plan of your Uru leading you in a particular direction. They may be the shock waves of powerful forces in adjoining Shoka washing over the little vessel of your life. They may also be the affect of activities of aga close to you, even if those activities take place in adjoining Shoka.

If you have the misfortune to be a victim of forces that are unrelated to you, it is best not to curse your fate, but to sit back and ride out the storm. Unrelated impacts will generally pass on.

Far more likely to impact on one's life is the life plan of one's Uru. Your Uru is not going to going away, it is infinite remember, and it has infinite wisdom.

Walking Blind

Following one's fate is like walking blind, you have to feel your way.

One can fight one's fate to a standstill but one can never change one's Uru nor its life plan. To move forward and be satisfied one must follow one's path. This does not mean that one's life will be easy if one is in tune with one's plan. On the contrary, such a life may well involve much struggling and fighting. The trick is to know whether one is fighting against one's fate or with one's fate.

Embrace your fate and embrace your soul!

Uru knows best!
