Early days of a human tagu in Orithia

A new tagu is manifested when something begins to live in its own right in a given Shoku. Life can be created in many ways, these include:

Gamogenetic egg - created following sexual congress, resulting in an organism with unique DNA.
Parthenogenetic egg - created without sexual fertilisation, resulting in a clone.
A scion cut from a living creature, resulting in a genetic clone, with some physical structure preexisting.
Binary fission of a unicellular organism.
Power-on of a computer life form.
Spontaneous life form creation from random assembly of raw materials.
etc

The life forms that we are familiar with generally have one or two parents, but we should not assume that that is necessarily the norm through Velas. It is possible that in some especially fertile environments certain forms of life may be created spontaneously at a great rate. It is also possible that some forms of life, such as computers may be created by teams of aga working together. Even on own planet of Arda, there is a bewildering variety of life, how much more so throughout the trillions of stars of Velas?

The smallest extension of an agu into a Shoku is enough to guarantee immortality in all dimensions. Even if a foetus is aborted or miscarried after 1 week it was alive, and therefore as an Uru it lives forever. Furthermore, even though it didn't grow to maturity in that Shoku it doesn't mean that it didn't grow to full maturity in another! Similarly, just because you who are reading this grew to your current level in Orithia it doesn't mean that you weren't miscarried in other Shoka or killed as an infant through misadventure or disease in yet others.
