What Is Homosexuality?

Homosexuality is the act of sexual congress between two members of the same sex. That is, any or all of: passionate erotic kissing, (as opposed to social kissing), genital fondling, mutual masturbation, penetration by a body-part or dildo, use of mouth on genitals, or any action designed to bring the other to orgasm . For the purposes of this church, feeling love for, having a strong bond with, or confessing love for a member of the same sex does not, on it's own, make one a homosexual.

The Problems With Homosexuality

The sexual act is designed by evolution to produce babies. It is designed to work between a male and a female. The penis and vagina fit together like sword and sheath. Sperm is ejaculated from the tip of the penis, where it can wriggle up into the uterus and fertilise an egg that has ripened in an ovary and is sliding along the fallopian tube. The fertilised egg attaches to the wall of the uterus which is designed exactly for the purpose and the baby begins to grow. There is no doubt that this is the way it is all supposed to work.

However, we are at the edge of evolution, we don't have to take its intention as the law, we can take control of our own design, we are, as of now, above the law of evolution.

Notwithstanding this marvelous liberation, we are only at the beginning, most of our minds and bodies remain slaves to our genetic heritage and its instinctive imperatives. Although it is possible for homosexual couples to bring each other to orgasm, yet the process is imperfect and maybe a source of frustration for the participants. Particularly female homosexuals who lack an erogenous erectile member of sufficient size to fill the vagina. The use of a dildo or hand to achieve this necessity is a poor substitute for a lover's penis, quivering with desire and pleasure. To a lesser extent the male homosexual may be frustrated by the absence of a self lubricating, erogenous sheath to receive his turgid shaft. Obviously the mouth and throat and the rectum can provide a substitute sufficient in some ways but it is still not as good as a warm, snug vagina, dripping with the juices of a lover's excitement.

The sad fact is that homosexuality is, in physical terms, just not right!

The Cause of Homosexuality

True homosexuals are driven into this form of congress not by desire for the act itself, but from attraction to members of their same sex. They can't help it that it is only members of their own sex that turn them on. That is the result of a defect in the process of self identity that occurs early in life. Essentially, true homosexuals have to a greater or lesser extent the internal identity of the opposite sex. For this reason they are attracted to their own sex. Those who have the defect to an extreme degree will seek to be transsexuals, those with a medium degree will be homosexuals that ape the opposite sex, ie queens and bull-dykes, and those with only a minor degree will be the less detectable homosexuals and bisexuals.

This condition appears to be irreversible and so we must all live with it. It is not the homosexual's fault, so they should not be stigmatised.

The Church of Infinite Dimensions regards loving sexual communion between two Ura as sacred. It doesn't matter whether the couple are hetero or homo sexual. It doesn't matter if the communion is physically inefficient, the principle remains the same. The expression of genuine love for another Uru embodies everything this church stands for.

Homosexuality Of Convenience

Normal heterosexuals may find themselves driven into homosexuality by circumstance or ideology. For example in a prison some men may find themselves adopting homosexual practice just for the relief of sexual activity. Similarly some women attracted to the ideology of radical feminism may adopt lesbianism in order to live according to their beliefs. Other people may be seduced into it by friends or role models.

However these are not true homosexuals, if you remove the circumstance forcing them into it they will revert to heterosexuality.

Those with a very strong grip on their sexual identity in alignment with their body will find it very difficult to adopt homosexuality, no matter what the circumstance.

Homosexual Marriage

This church regards marriage between adult homosexuals as perfectly legitimate and satisfactory.

That is, primarily for the two partners to care for and support each other, smoothing and improving their way through life, in the same manner as heterosexual couples. The church believes that their property should be shared in a legal sense exactly as it is between heterosexual couples.

Children

Although the Church of Infinite Dimensions believes that most homosexual couples with children will do their best to raise and nurture those children in a spirit worthy of any parents, the church nonetheless feels that the absence of a permanent role model of each sex in the home, and likewise the role model of a heterosexual couple in the home, is an incomplete environment and therefore regards it in a doubtful light. Not only is the child lacking exposure to the other sex, but it is getting a homosexually biased view of the world which may be inappropriate if the child is heterosexual. The Church recognises that many heterosexual marriages are less than ideal also, but holds that two wrongs don't make a right.

However, where a homosexual couple have children, the Church supports their right to raise them. Although the environment might not be ideal as far as the church is concerned, yet it is still best that a child be raised by its true parent. In order to attempt to correct the one-sex bias of the home, the Church advocates that the child spend time with its other natural parent if possible, and with a heterosexual friend of the family of the other sex if not.

Notwithstanding the above, the Church doesn't believe that homosexual couples should be given help to conceive children. Once such a child is a fact it must be supported in the best way possible, but the Church would prefer that homosexual couples not pursue conception.
